What do I wear for recruitment?

For the sisterhood rounds, you will wear the shirt provided to you by HPC. For philanthropy round, wear a cute, casual dress or a top & skirt with a pair of heels or flats. For preference round, wear a cocktail dress with a pair of heels or flats. Feel free to accessorize however you want! Show off your personality!

Can I go through recruitment if I am not a freshman?

Yes! Recruitment is open to anyone in any year of their college experience.

Do I need a recommendation letter?

No, Zeta Tau Alpha does not require recommendation letters or references for recruitment. In June, our National Council also announced that all Zeta Tau Alpha collegiate chapters will no longer give legacies preferential consideration during recruitment.

What is a RC?

A RC is a recruitment counselor who is a member of a Panhellenic sorority. She has gone through the recruitment process and is now here to help you through yours. She will be there to guide you through rounds and provide any support you may need.

What is the financial responsibility of joining ZTA?

ZTA has all-inclusive dues, which means that dues will cover everything in our chapter including apparel, sisterhood events, socials, and much more. Members are also able to pay for their dues in installments throughout the semester and can work directly with our treasurer to come up with a plan. ZTA also offers many scholarships to cover tuition and dues.

Is there recruitment in the Spring?

Spring recruitment does exist, but it is not guaranteed by our chapter every spring semester. We do, however, participate in formal recruitment in the Fall every year.

Is ZTA diverse and inclusive?

100% yes. Our chapter is very proud to be made up of girls of all different cultures and walks of life. We celebrate our differences and strive to continuously be inclusive and fight for the equity of all.
